Manzanita Village is a 36-home cohousing community located on a hillside above beautiful, mile-high Prescott, Arizona. We overlook and are walking distance to the center of Prescott, with spectacular views of surrounding mountains including Prescott’s iconic Thumb Butte (below) and Granite Mountain. Our small city offers an incredible array of outdoor activities, arts, education, museums, medical care and just about everything you might enjoy. It is ideal for families with children as well as for people close to or already enjoying retirement. And we are just 1 hour to Sedona, 1.5 to Flagstaff or Phoenix, and 2.5 to the Grand Canyon.

To sustain and promote a thriving, cohousing community in Prescott, Arizona, whose members develop and participate in an inter-generational, intentional community which nurtures creativity, neighborliness, collaboration, consensus governance, environmental stewardship and global awareness.
Our Mission
The members of MVCC individually and collectively commit to the realization of our vision by:
- Sharing in the governance of the village, using consensus as our primary decision-making process recognizing that the wisdom of the whole is greater than that of us individually.
